This twilight carnival is in lieu of our cancelled Athletics Carnival. It will be held on Monday the 28th of July at Mingara between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.
While we always encourage and appreciate all levels of enthusiasm, this opportunity is best suited for students who are interested in competing and representing our school at CCC, rather than those participating just for fun. Students will need to make their own way to Mingara, we would suggest picking your child up from school at around 1.30pm and then making your way to Mingara.
THIS IS AN OPT IN EVENT, PLEASE ONLY FILL IN THE FORM IF YOUR CHILD IS A COMPETITIVE RUNNER WHO WISHES TO ATTEND THE TWILIGHT, OTHERWISE PLEASE DECLINE.
The events the children can opt into are: 100m, 200m, 800m, 1500m and long jump. Unfortunately, we are unable to run high jump this year. If your child participates in high jump at Little Athletics, they are welcomed to submit a height to be considered for CCC Athletics. High jump is not included in Age Champion points.
Although minimum staff will be present to help facilitate races, we would appreciate any parent helpers who are able to assist for the afternoon. Please nominate on the note if you are able to assist.
