Year 3 students will participate in an exciting incursion presented by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) Discovery – Newcastle and Hunter. A National Parks Ranger will spend one hour with each class, sharing their knowledge of Australia’s native plants, animals and natural environments. This incursion supports our learning in Science, where students have been exploring living and non-living things, and in English, through our study of Wandi, with a focus on conservation and the importance of wildlife sanctuaries.
