In the last week of Term 2 our Opens Rugby League team competed at Morrie Breen in the finals of the Catholic and Independent Schools Cup. After a strong semi-final win, the boys defeated Tumbi Umbi 18-10 in the final. The boys’ win was characterised by a clear sense of teamwork and continual support of each other.
Congratulations boys! Your excellent behaviour matched your skills on the field. We wish the team well as next week they travel to Port Macquarie for the regional finals. We greatly thank Shane Crowe (Ryan’s Dad) for capably coaching the team.
